On 18th August 2021, 15 Canvas Beds were delivered to Hospital Kajang. On site to receive these beds were Emergency Physician Dr Shuhaidah, and Hospital Supervisor Encik Fikri.
Each Canvas Bed cost RM520, bringing the total sum of 15 beds to RM7800.
With the shortage of beds in most hospitals due to the surge in patient admissions, hospitals are left with no choice but to resort to using Canvas Beds. These beds are light, foldable and are made with heavy duty canvas.
We hope these 15 beds will be able to ease the pains, and comfort the sufferings of patients by at least giving them a proper place to lay down, and our medical frontliners will not have to turn away patients who are in urgent need of medical attention.
